I read the news today
The same old stories,
The same old fight
Will we ever learn to
live with each other?
Somehow I doubt it tonight

So I turn the pages
everyday
Hoping for good news
but none do I to see
But war and madness
rattle off the blues

Media everywhere with
no escape
Oh for the solitude
in the mountains
Instead of a place
where all to lose

Hate is everywhere
with bedfellows envy
and jealousy
These ruthless hounds
hunt all in their
wake, none will be free
