It Just Won’t Go Away

So now the damage is done
she doesn’t know what more she can say
Apologies enough are given, does she now run?
because it won’t just go away

All she wanted was to pay her respects
as anyone would in their position
But misinformation was given, could be decked
this has been a very bad decision

At the end of the day she should’ve kept quiet
not usually her style to talk, just listens
But now she’s a no good Charlotte
as she thinks on this her eyes glisten

It was just a simple mistake and not even hers
she wonders who will give her hell, what cards they deal
For it came from others but it’s her who incurs
the wrath of all involved in this, alone now she feels

She now just wants to run, get away from here
as she feels this could get out of control
My god, she now sheds a tear
as her heart now breaks as does her soul

All for trying to do the right thing
listening to what was said
The continuous hassles this now brings
it now messes with her head

She wishes she could turn
back the clock
Rewind the remote control
but she’ll learn next time
