Here he goes again, listening to their
troubles and woes
All the problems under the sun they think
with them, anything goes

What problems though do they have
he asks himself?
For to him it’s all self-made
if they want the truth?

He listens to them wide and far
they the open book
Keeping quiet all the time
to him they always look

Rambling on about this and that
their insecure lives
Backstabbing everyone else
stabbing with their knives

Why oh why are they blind to
all they see and do
Don’t they realise that they
are the problem true

Real problems they wouldn’t want
in this cruel world
So much evil that exists in us all
we watch it all unfurl

So he listens on as they rabbit away
about money, relationships too
On and on and on they talk
always the same damn tune

Insecurity rules their lives
forever and always
As they talk and never listen
to advice day-to-day

These are the types that never notice
friends and family too
As they gabble away, lost in themselves
they really haven’t a clue
