Time waits for no-one they say
Ain’t it true these past few days
Gone in the blink of an eye
Never enough time as time flies by

Everything builds like a crescendo
As you wonder where you’ll go?
Frustrations rise ready to explode
You just want to be free, to unload!

Time waits for no-one they say
Ain’t it true these past few days
Gone in the blink of an eye
Never enough time as time flies by

So much to do in so little time
To not do so is a crime
There’s no waiting for tomorrow
For tomorrow never comes, just regretful sorrow

Time waits for no-one they say
Ain’t it true these past few days
Gone in the blink of an eye
Never enough time as time flies by

It’s just a slipstream that goes by
And with it another sorry sigh
This cycle you know you should break
Or full into the trap of self-loathing and hate

Time waits for no-one they say
Ain’t it true these past few days
Gone in the blink of an eye
Never enough time as time flies by

Do something before it’s too late
Do something before you see those pearly gates…

*Anyone who wants to put music to my lyrics please get in touch. I would be interested to hear from you.
