Out of Reach

We all dream of finding
the perfect dream
but end up being disappointed,
no such thing
Wonder aimlessly along,
confused it seems
searching for something
out of reach, lost on wings
In the end, what are we
worthy to teach?
the younger generation must
learn from the old
So they can find what
we all seek
A knowledge that can
never be sold
Our dreams for a perfect world
are a cost to others
Decisions a constant swirl
we hurt our sisters and brothers
Whether governmental
power or lowly boss
all are affected by
what is asked
Of us to do in the
name of chaos
ulterior motives
that are masked
Out of reach it
all is
the danger is the
devil’s kiss
Keep away if you
value life
or prepare your back
for the knife
