So back to normal now the riots are turned down in heat
The politicians fight for scraps, vultures over a piece of meat
All for the power and glory of a political seat
They as bad as the rioters, all too neat

Maybe this time though they will learn from their mistake
And will give something back, not to be on the take
For I don’t think we as a people can our hearts forsake
All those who have suffered by those that we make

So Prime Minister, Mr Mayor, politicians all
Don’t this time set us up for a fall
Because it’s you who lead but never rule
And end up looking like the fool

There’s no need to get outside help in our need
Just disperse the money you fund with greed
Put it in the right places like a flowering seed
And watch as it grows healthy with the sun that feeds

Teach, educate, fund the country of the disheartened
Help those get back on their feet and straightened
To make a worthwhile contribution, to be enlightened
So the old lady down the road will never be frightened
