Life is a funny thing
We make it complicated
for no reason at all
Why do we always
overcomplicate things?
Everything is a simple
as we want it to be
It just needs work

Sometimes though it’s
out of our hands
Forces at work to thwart us
Why do we always
overcomplicate things?
Money is a must sadly
for life isn’t cheap
Nothing is free
Why do we always
overcomplicate things?
Everything is a train,
coach or plane away
Or maybe on your doorstep
Why do we always
overcomplicate things?
But if we really try
we can have all we wish
We just need to believe
But we always
overcomplicate things don’t we?
