A Soul With No Home

Walking Alone

He moves from place to place
No wish to settle down
Encountering many a new face
As he drifts from town to town

A soul with no home
He drifts like a ghost
Forever he’ll roam
Travelling from coast to coast

He’s looking for something
Been searching for many years
This journey lonely and self-hating
Into the crowd he disappears

A soul with no home
He drifts like a ghost
Forever he’ll roam
Travelling from coast to coast

Maybe he’ll find end’s road soon
The path to happiness one day reached
But until then black clouds loom
His journey still has lessons to teach

A soul with no home
He drifts like a ghost
Forever he’ll roam
Travelling from coast to coast
