I saw you last night
in more than my dreams
I looked into your heart
as you saw deep into me
I spoke countless whispers
before I lay in bed
But always you were there
right inside my head
I wonder on your dreams
do you see me too
From across the water
of green and fairest blue?
Constant are you in
my mind, heart and soul
All of this you have
truly and unbeknownst stole
Separated are we
by miles and differing lives
But somehow I know
we’ll meet one starry night
I have to believe
in all I do see
Otherwise it will
remain just a fantasy

I do not typically gravitate towards rhyme, but you have done quite a beautiful job in this poem! you didn’t lose sophistication, it was so enhancing. excellent!

Thank you and bless you. I try not to rhyme but can’t help myself! I have a load of un-rhymed poems amongst the hundreds I have done on here. God knows where they are though! I love your design and your intro to your blog. I’ll be popping in every so often. Welcome to my deranged mind! 😉
