Paw prints in the snow
melt away in springs glow
Leaving only a memory behind
of what once was, now unable to find
No howls can be heard
just the sad lament of a few birds
That sing the songs of sorrow
for the children of lost tomorrow
In the final frontier
where nature sheds its tears

So glad you liked it. Wolves are a passion of mine but it can be used for most species nowadays.

Thank-you Rebecca. Glad you liked it. Howling for Justice inspires the Wolf/wildlife poems plus my own love and respect for nature.
