She takes her break from work
Forty-five minutes of bliss
Dreaming of another world
And opportunities missed
She watches people glide by
Rushing around, stressed are they
As she sips her hot chocolate
She dreams of warmer days
Oh how she wishes on another chance
To do things differently
But far too late she now believes
She can never be free
But the only thing stopping her is herself
This the sad truth
Excuses always made to justify this
What does she have to lose
Then one day something snaps
Years have passed her by
Her family all around her she loves
But she needs something for herself to try
And so a new adventure begins
Her heart beats fast once more
Why didn’t she do this earlier
This adventure is what life is for
