Searching, looking out up high
Looking for a flash of white
‘Snowman, snowman, where are you?
Come will you please, very soon’
Hoping for a snowman she is to see
This her wish in which she believes
But only flakes do slowly fall
Not even enough for a snowball
She stares up and wishes with all her might
Hoping for a snowman in the falling white
For my little niece Lana
