Chocolate and Sweet Release

Posted on Jan 2, 2013

‘Oh sweet lord,’ she thinks to herself
As she bites into the velvet chunks
Flakes crumble off and melt in her mouth
As the chocolate starts its sweet release

The day’s stresses melt away
As she sinks back into the chair
The taste working its magic today
And lost all her cares

Such a small thing made her smile
Took away the bad feelings too
She lays back like a contented child
And pops the last chunk to boot
