Too late you call
Expecting me to fall
At your feet in supplication
And scream in elation
(Chorus)
But I won’t to your chagrin
You’re wearing a bit thin
Always with you late notice
This I certainly won’t miss
(Chorus)
I know I’m a stubborn fool
But you make me lose my cool
So I stretch the truth a little
To cool my temper that’s brittle
(Chorus)
I’m not your slave don’t forget
I’m an equal at least in my mindset
Don’t take me for a fool again
Or I’ll put this relationship to death
(Chorus)
