A hunger burns inside of her
Burning deep it’s a blur
Ravenous for something more
Wondering what she’s hungry for?

She wants to devour all
Doesn’t wanna be nobody’s fool
Had enough of staleness now
Going nowhere she has found

This hunger insatiable, intense
None of it makes much sense
She knows she needs to eat
But not food, something more she seeks

The search will continue until sated
Maybe then the hunger shall be abated?
Or maybe not, who knows?
She’ll always hunger until she grows…
