Good Intentions

Many plans she did have
That she looks back to feeling sad
Good intentions to fix everything
But times passes by in a blink

Lost in the chaos of her life
The drudgery from which she can’t hide
Falling deeper into its embrace
She just need to get out of that place

Falling behind on way too much
The voices in her head won’t shush
Screaming at her all the time
As she watches hope pass her by

Good intentions have cost her dear
She now has to fight many fears
trying to have faith in something more
In all she’s dreamed of fighting for

Good intentions she always gives
For many others, now she’s forgotten to live
“Oh please,” she whispers, “help me please,
Give me that longed for release…”
