Unrelenting Sun

Unrelenting sun
Leave me be
Shining your rays
Right through me
Unbearable heat
Melts my brain
I pray for breeze
Even the rain
I lie there
Unmoving now
Wanting some air
None in this town
Wishing I was by
The sea
Where the breeze
Blows so free
But in this oven
I do boil and roast
Like a lobster
I do toast
Oh for some air
Just to breathe
Sweet sweet air
Toes in the sea
