Black Clouds

Black clouds gather
The awaiting storm
Rain does patter
Onto the lawn

This darkness mirrors
The figures below
Twisted and bitter
Those dealt a blow

They rumble and bellow
Those darkening clouds
Raining on that fellow
His words muffled sounds

So big the black clouds
Those below so small
Chased by sky hounds
The devil today is cruel

Look to the skies
Hide away and cower
The elements take no sides
Whether human, animal or flower
