Outside the rain hammers against the window pane
Trees sway against the strength of their enemy
They reach to the earth, bending under the strain
One uproots, no longer the ageless sentry
Rubbish and leaves fly around, carried by the wind
In towns across the land people huddle inside
A hurricane was forecast, blowing away bins
From winters wrath, nothing can hide
On the coast, the seas rise in fury
Hitting land in its anger it does make
They drown everything, destruction its story
The stormy sea leaves nothing in its wake
A man struggles to cross the road
The fury of nature does push him back
He’s sure the storm laughs at him, goads
In the sky from blue to black
Animals run for shelter and huddle way
A dog barks at the sky, a warning
The wrath of Mother nature is here to stay
A new age in infancy is dawning
The signs are everywhere for all to see
But most are ignored, laughed at by great minds
Nature will rise and have her revenge to be
Against all who abuse her gift of life, humankind

I'm a thinker, listener, a "question's pretty much everything" type of person. A seeker of knowledge, always restless, yet seeks the calm in life.
I love writing in all forms and am in the process of completing a number of ongoing projects. I love the craft of writing and the possibilities it holds. A magic carpet through the mind. I love pretty much all creative arts, music, film and theatre the leading ones.
Born in Hertfordshire in England, my family Irish, Welsh and English, I currently reside in Edinburgh, in Scotland. I'm drawn to coastal and mountain regions where I like to go to think and draw inspiration from. Ireland is a place that's dear to me, and I try to get back to see family and friends as much as possible.
My interests are wide and broad, too many to mention here, but history, archaeology, criminology, music and film are just some of those things I love.
I hope you enjoy my ramblings on here as that's what they are really. I'll let my fingers do the ''talking...''
