The rain eases off as the sun breaks through
The frost dissipates into a winter dew
The world wakes up to half of light
While the other half sleeps into night
Down below the smiling sun in a quiet street
There is a man in a crises who awakes from sleep
The slumber leaves his sleepy eyes
As he showers and shaves for his day so bright
The morning paper he picks from the floor
As he moves into the kitchen for breakfast and more
A tea he drinks to wash it down
Now his day he’ll begin in town
No postman yet for that letter he awaits
Waited for a while now, its contents he anticipates
It could be the news he’s been looking for a while
The one that could change his complete lifestyle
This could be the beginning of the end
Or the end of the beginning, it all depends
His hopes and dreams await him still
On the postman who’ll save or kill
So off he goes with hope in his heart
Full of dreams for that adventurous start
Willing himself in his belief to come true
To live under new skies, to start anew

I'm a thinker, listener, a "question's pretty much everything" type of person. A seeker of knowledge, always restless, yet seeks the calm in life.
I love writing in all forms and am in the process of completing a number of ongoing projects. I love the craft of writing and the possibilities it holds. A magic carpet through the mind. I love pretty much all creative arts, music, film and theatre the leading ones.
Born in Hertfordshire in England, my family Irish, Welsh and English, I currently reside in Edinburgh, in Scotland. I'm drawn to coastal and mountain regions where I like to go to think and draw inspiration from. Ireland is a place that's dear to me, and I try to get back to see family and friends as much as possible.
My interests are wide and broad, too many to mention here, but history, archaeology, criminology, music and film are just some of those things I love.
I hope you enjoy my ramblings on here as that's what they are really. I'll let my fingers do the ''talking...''

I think that says it all. Life changes depending on how you see it and it seems like something the narrator is becoming aware of.
Thanks for the like! Yeah, That’s what I believe wholeheartedly. Life’s a funny thing isn’t it?
