So it’s in the news again
Reaching these shores
Catholic schools we do vent
Our anger as they break laws
Religion is hidden behind
When kids are abused
Not much is done we find
The kids and families lose
This disgusting thing very wrong
Been going on for decades
Kids, now adults hide the past gone
Hoping for it to fade
But this horrible thing goes on
And on, unchecked and noticed
Until one day someone before long
Is caught in the act and punished
This though goes on in all faiths
Catholic schools get noticed most
What child you wonder is safe
From their protective hosts?
I hope and pray for the lost souls
The one’s affected by this evil
That they can be at peace and again whole
From the hidden religious, but human devil

I'm a thinker, listener, a "question's pretty much everything" type of person. A seeker of knowledge, always restless, yet seeks the calm in life.
I love writing in all forms and am in the process of completing a number of ongoing projects. I love the craft of writing and the possibilities it holds. A magic carpet through the mind. I love pretty much all creative arts, music, film and theatre the leading ones.
Born in Hertfordshire in England, my family Irish, Welsh and English, I currently reside in Edinburgh, in Scotland. I'm drawn to coastal and mountain regions where I like to go to think and draw inspiration from. Ireland is a place that's dear to me, and I try to get back to see family and friends as much as possible.
My interests are wide and broad, too many to mention here, but history, archaeology, criminology, music and film are just some of those things I love.
I hope you enjoy my ramblings on here as that's what they are really. I'll let my fingers do the ''talking...''

Your last line sums up your feeling – well written.
Thank you! Yeah, I’m no big fan of religion really because of its human failings and this is a big one. I used to live in Ireland and heard so many stories about this from friends and neighbours as well as hearing it in the news.
It’s very sad.
