So here we go again
Another election, a
cross to bare
These Muppets with their lies
Who are they kidding with
their crocodile cries
It’s us who are always
left last
The ones who scrimp
and save
Only for it to go
from one hand to another
They never listen
Only when it’s too late
Always blaming the other
Who left open the gates?
They never listen
They never learn
A past riot
Soaring bills
Angry mobs
We’ve had our fill
It’s them who build bridges
only for them to burn
Enough
Enough
We’ve had enough!

It is so true. I suppose though there is also the argument that “we” could always stand for election ourselves … do we get what we deserve (because of our apathy)?

I don’t think we get much of a choice really as I noticed earlier when voting and who we have to vote for. It’s them or not much else unless we form new parties but then it’s a never-ending cycle of the same thing day in and out, each blaming the other for the troubles when all are responsible. It’s frustrating and I think it’s time for a new type of government for this way here in what we have in the UK has not done much in progression in its 800 years to better things that much really.
