Your eyes shine brighter
than a sun
Burning into my soul,
seeing all
I look away
uncomfortably
Not wanting those
eyes seeing my heart
But they burrow
deep
Feeling their way
through
Seeing more than
is allowed
Shining like diamonds,
these Angel’s tears
They find my
Pandora’s box
Hidden for so long
but now opened by her
I cannot handle her
intense gaze
The things she finds
deep inside
Locked away for
many years
They explode out
in confused madness
Spilling, seeping
to all
They come into contact
with
Making confused
hearts
Retreat deeper
still
Outside summer
rain falls
Washing away the
grime built up
Washing away the
confusion and pain
