Walking Away

Re-liar-bility for a simple task
she was expecting
not much it was for this to ask

A few days notice was given
to them for something that takes
ten minutes if driven

It was important to her to believe
that this be done by them
but this she should’ve seen

All she’s done for them
over time big or small
she vows not to ever again

So she backtracks now to try again
to try something new
but to act fast she needs so to pay the rent

The re-liar-bility of others no more faith
she can really have
she’s now alone on this path, having to be brave
