The Lonely Boy

He’s so alone, doesn’t wanna
be anymore
Too scared to talk to girls, usually
knocked to the floor

He sometimes confuses kindness for
more than it is
Totally embarrasses himself, never
gonna get that destiny’s kiss

Maybe a monk he’ll be,
a life serene and free
Female distractions gone
life given to song

Or even a hermit travelling the land
leaving footsteps in the sand
A ghost in the machine could he be
but really he wants a girl to see

A lonely life is not for him
but fate has plans, smiles its wicked grin
So all he can do is follow the path
and hope that destiny won’t fall over and laugh
