Hello my dears, you know my name
for many centuries we’ve played the game
And danced the dance where I offer you all your desires
there’s no need to turn or twist those pliers

I hear your whispers inside your head
wishing others you know dead
As well as those closest to you
I may grant them if you choose

(Chorus)
So meet me down the crossroads
let me take off that heavy load
I’ll show you a world of dreams
and give you all you need

Your minds rattle with endless greed
wealth your reason to live and believe
I’ll give you this and so much more
but there’s something I want from you, ’tis my law

For nothing comes for free my child
even in the land of the wild
All has a price in the end
only I and another the rules can bend

(Chorus)
So meet me down the crossroads
let me take off that heavy load
I’ll show you a world of dreams
and give you all you need

So be careful what you wish for
and remember the small print in the law
The great, the good and the ever so bad
I make deals even with the mad

Don’t judge me though, this my job
given to me by your oh so benevolent God
He’s not a fool and neither am I
only in humanity is the species so blind

(Chorus)
So meet me down the crossroads
and let me take off that heavy load
I’ll show you a world of wondrous dreams
and give you all you desire and need

(And fade out with)
Meet me down the crossroads
you know you want to (your soul) unload
I took Robert Johnson and I’ll take you too
Mwahahaha! see you soon…
