Moaning Minnie

Posted on Apr 7, 2013

She’s never happy is Moaning Minnie
always something to grumble about
Thinking the world revolves around her
always louder are her shouts

It takes up so much of her week
these negative thoughts that fly around
That she’s so engulfed in them
In a mire she is tightly bound

Positive thinking is what’s needed
to escape the blackened mind
To free herself from this train
and jump to another or at least try

But too deep and long in the tooth
maybe she is she thinks?
Or maybe just scared to jump
into the unknown so sinks…
