Child of Five

Oh to be young again
To be a child of five
My imagination my friend
Oh to be a child of five

One minute a pirate
The next a soldier in war
Days I will never forget
Want those days more and more

In trees and coal-sheds I would hide
From an unseen enemy
No more was I a child of five
The world I had seen aplenty

Lost in an imagination wild
Away from the realities of life
I was a happy child
When I was a child of five
