He’s left his home town
Been a while in the making
Left family and friends behind
His heart not even breaking
For he’s finally going home
To a place where he belongs
This place of his heart
Sang of in many songs
Finally he’ll be at peace
A weight finally lifted
As he enters Kinsale, the harbour town
His eyes become all misted
No longer searching
He’s home at last
No restless soul
The past is finally the past
