Blind Faith

What she needs is something more
To take a leap of faith
But blind is she to was she does
Her dreams she does betray

What can she do but go on
Live as best she can
But never knowing what she’d achieved
No future lifelong plan

For dreams is all she had
Taken by those from afar
Too many things in the way
That ripped her soul apart

So now a sheep like everyone else
She trots along so sad
Lost in the conformity line
Thinking of what she could’ve had

Blind faith is what she needs
But lost it along the way
Needs a hug, a shoulder, an ear
To restore that inner faith
