Just found out that you have gone
Angels wings fly you with heavenly song
Taken from those you love so dear
Never a right time this we fear
Death the only constant we have in life
It unites us all, cuts us like a knife
Our hearts break for those we lose
The reaper isn’t picky with who he shall choose
You were special in all our hearts
Memories fresh from the distant past
You put a smile on the faces of all
But the time came for heavens call
There’s never enough time to say goodbye
Taken from us, leaving tears we cry
Those left behind feel empty and lost
Confused are they at your cost
You fought for years in your fight
This cruel twisted disease did take flight
At least now no pain do you have
Spared the worst, this though so sad
I wish I’d known to be there for you
To see you off, to see it through
Wherever you are be at peace
We’ll think of you always, that’ll never cease
For my cousin, Christy who died in Dublin last week aged 42

I'm a thinker, listener, a "question's pretty much everything" type of person. A seeker of knowledge, always restless, yet seeks the calm in life.
I love writing in all forms and am in the process of completing a number of ongoing projects. I love the craft of writing and the possibilities it holds. A magic carpet through the mind. I love pretty much all creative arts, music, film and theatre the leading ones.
Born in Hertfordshire in England, my family Irish, Welsh and English, I currently reside in Edinburgh, in Scotland. I'm drawn to coastal and mountain regions where I like to go to think and draw inspiration from. Ireland is a place that's dear to me, and I try to get back to see family and friends as much as possible.
My interests are wide and broad, too many to mention here, but history, archaeology, criminology, music and film are just some of those things I love.
I hope you enjoy my ramblings on here as that's what they are really. I'll let my fingers do the ''talking...''

So young, but not in pain now. Glad you were able to write this tribute. ❤
Thank you. He was way too young. Still can’t believe it.
