Road to Freedom

Why do you hate us so
Blaming us for a past long ago
When it wasn’t us that did the deed
Or put your people in saddened grief

If you look closer you shall see
You were no better in your false belief
If only you would open your eyes
Blinded by propaganda, you’ll hear others cry

For your belief destroys your own
Those you love and your home
You’ll never walk the road to freedom
As long as you hate another kingdom

I'm a thinker, listener, a "question's pretty much everything" type of person. A seeker of knowledge, always restless, yet seeks the calm in life. Ireland is a place that's dear to me, and I try to get back to see family and friends as much as possible. My interests are wide and broad, too many to mention here, but history, archaeology, criminology, music and film are just some of those things I love. I hope you enjoy my ramblings on here as that's what they are really. I'll let my fingers do the ''talking...''

    1. Thank-you. I never understand hate and how you can hate a people for something done a hundred, two hundred years ago or sometimes less. It’s all about education and brainwashing I believe. I’ve met people like this in Ireland, a place and people that I love where some still hate the British for the past and want to continue fighting against us. They forget their history and who they are though meaning it’s all hypocritical. So sad but these few are losing the argument now and it’s just thugs making a bad thing for those that want peace.
