Taken in the light of day
This child out to play
Gone in a flash
As the rain started to lash
The vehicle and man were seen
In a four-wheel drive green
This child trusting just got in
Away they went from where she lived
Two days pass, no word yet
A man been caught, questions set
Nothing seems to be revealed
Ears are open and eyes are peeled
Pray that she’s okay
And found without delay
So she’ll be safe home
Never again to feel alone

Born in Hertfordshire in England, my family Irish, Welsh and English, I currently reside in Edinburgh, in Scotland. I'm drawn to coastal and mountain regions where I like to go to think and draw inspiration from. Ireland is a place that's dear to me, and I try to get back to see family and friends as much as possible.
My interests are wide and broad, too many to mention here, but history, archaeology, criminology, music and film are just some of those things I love.

Yeah it’s very sad. The alleged abductor has been arrested but no sign of little April. Fingers crossed for her.
