Soulless Abode

In her home anew
Where not she feels true
This soulless abode she took
Not in her heart she looked
For now she feels apart
For this isn’t in her heart
A home she wanted to be free
A place she could be
But rushed in like a fool
Going against her rule
So a prisoner she now feels
In this place her heart does chill
Forced there by circumstance
She feels but pierced by a lance
So all she can do is but dream
Of a home by a stream
Not far from the sea
With sandy beaches as far as the eye can see
And mountains and waterfalls
This is her heart and souls call
