Listen do you hear?
Do you hear my words?
Ever I tell you clear
But am never heard?
Damn you listen to me!
Listen to what I say
I am losing my belief
My feelings yet to betray
You ask me am I okay?
Yet never hear my reply
With ears so fake
Why do I even try?
All I do is listen to you
Listen to all your problems
But you haven’t a clue
My words are like phantoms
A fish you are anyway
With whatever I tell you
Morning, noon, night all day
Forgetting me in all my truth
In one ear and
Out the other
Selective you hear
Your deafness does me smother

I'm a thinker, listener, a "question's pretty much everything" type of person. A seeker of knowledge, always restless, yet seeks the calm in life.
I love writing in all forms and am in the process of completing a number of ongoing projects. I love the craft of writing and the possibilities it holds. A magic carpet through the mind. I love pretty much all creative arts, music, film and theatre the leading ones.
Born in Hertfordshire in England, my family Irish, Welsh and English, I currently reside in Edinburgh, in Scotland. I'm drawn to coastal and mountain regions where I like to go to think and draw inspiration from. Ireland is a place that's dear to me, and I try to get back to see family and friends as much as possible.
My interests are wide and broad, too many to mention here, but history, archaeology, criminology, music and film are just some of those things I love.
I hope you enjoy my ramblings on here as that's what they are really. I'll let my fingers do the ''talking...''

I have read and listened to your Poetry. Bravo! I really enjoyed reading your Poem because the flow of words, rhythm and emotions were greatly executed. I also thought the simplicity was brilliant. To be honest, unfortunately-I have met and known more than one “Fish”. I think the people who cause or create anything negative in your life such as-pain, hurt, etc-they end up enabling you to be so much more stronger.-what does not kill you-makes you stronger.
Thank you for your kind words. Yeah, I know many of these myself and sometimes you feel like screaming at them but they wouldn’t listen anyway. You wonder why you bother at times. The human race is fickle and annoying.
