Down at rock bottom was she
Her happiness wasn’t meant to be
She gave up on everything then
Nothing to her was heaven-sent
She lost everything overnight
Her friends and family far from sight
No help from anyone at all
Why oh why had she been such a fool?
Then all of a sudden along come fate
Better now than never, wasn’t too late
By a thread she was hanging from
Now hope she sees, her dark days gone
A call she receives about a home
Gone her plans to up and roam
But a new place to live has saved her day
At least a roof she has, now a job that pays
Then lo and behold a message comes through
A job she’s offered, nothing to lose
Low pay but the experience is the best
The ghosts of the past laid to rest
It’s not perfect or what she wanted
Stuck in this town to her feels morbid
But it’s a start while she secretly plans
To escape to her dream life near those sands
The moral is clear for all to see
Never lose faith, have the heart to believe
Anything is possible even when low
