Never Trust Again

She’s learned a lot this past year
About her circle and what to fear
Knowing she’s been treated like dirt
She’ll never trust again, always hurt

Too much this has been going on
So many people doing’ her wrong
Taken advantage of and spat out
Yet she took this always, she did allow

Now though she’s stuck herself
Needs help but no-one to tell
If she could get back what she lent
Then she could do what she was for meant

But ignored she has been by most
She’ll never move away to be by the coast
Stuck in her gaol a little while longer
Never sated by this consuming hunger

But she’s determined to cut ties
She won’t no more listen to other’s cries
Time to fight for her future now
And a happiness long searched, never found
