Little Miss Doormat

The storm outside mirrors her mood
People have hurt her so
She’s even off her food
And her finances are very low

Little miss doormat is her name
Little miss doormat she’s called
Little miss doormat way too tame
Little miss doormat shall fall

For too long now she’s felt like this
Felt like a lock missing a key
So many knifes in for the twist
She’s hurting, can they not see?

Little miss doormat is her name
Little miss doormat she’s called
Little miss doormat way too tame
Little miss doormat shall fall

She’s lent out money, down to her last
People have grabbed it away
But when she needs them, eyes away they cast
From her like ghosts they fade

Little miss doormat is her name
Little miss doormat she’s called
Little miss doormat way too tame
Little miss doormat shall fall

She’s been too soft for way too long
Not anymore she thinks
She’ll correct all she’s done wrong
Quicker than she can blink

Little miss doormat is her name
Little miss doormat she’s called
Little miss doormat way too tame
Little miss doormat shall fall

No more little miss doormat
Never to walk all over anymore
She’ll now fight like a cat
Her word will now be law

Little miss doormat is her name
Little miss doormat she’s called
Little miss doormat way too tame
Little miss doormat shall fall

Taken advantage of for way too long
By those who don’t really care
She wants everything sorted, to be gone
To wash them from her hair

No more little miss doormat her name
Sleeping tiger she is now called
She has fight, no longer tame
She’s no longer the fool
