The Waiting Game

So there he is waiting for her
Alone in a pub, his feelings do stir
She though plays the waiting game
He’ll follow as always, till he goes insane!

He knows not what he wants from her
Is it romance or just to rip off her shirt
All he knows is he’s dizzy when she’s here
The frustration rages as he builds up tears

So what does he do with this friend of his
Who sends him in this crazy tizz
Should he tell her how he feels
Before this broken spirit is finally killed

Kissed her he has in a drunken way
She did respond which made his day
But confused, restless and way messed up
He feels she’s like a lost lonely pup

He gets niggled when women accuse men of unsharing feelings
But it’s they who mess with men, makes worse the healing
Confusion reigns in their hearts
Like this poor boy lost from the start
